                                                           In case You Missed it.

Making Generational Impact(Part 2)

Anchor scriptures:
Judges 6:12-17

Preacher: Pastor Victor Ayeye.

Courage as a requirement to make generational impact.

What is courage?

Courage is the ability to face problems and dangers without looking back.

Courage is the ability to face uncertain future and keep your head high.

It is the capacity to endure pains because of the gains that is ahead

The ability to say a thing because God has said it.

Courage is a staying power.

A courageous man is an audacious.

Only the courageous will eat the yield and the good  of the Land.

You need courage to stand tall when things are crumbling in your very eyes.

Courage entails leaving your comfort zone.

Leaving your comfort Zone might mean taking risks.

However, you must analyse your risk and assess if it is in alignment with the Word of God.

Some don't take risks because of fear.

Courage is not the absence of fear but the ability to stand against your fear.

FEAR is false expectation appearing real.

People exercise fear on a number of issues.
For example;  fear of rejection, fear of tomorrow e.t.c

Note that you are a child of God does not exempt you from challenges.

A child of God will definitely go through and overcome problems.

"W.F Kumuyi describes as fear; forget everything and run.

Solomon made generational impact
when he gave a mind-boggling sacrifice as offering.

You must also learn to hear God. Until you hear God, you are not going anywhere.

And when God speaks to you, learn to keep and write them down.

To achieve anything significant you must be courageous.
Joshua 1:1-9

                                                         Types of courage:

(1) Courage to confront your past and your fear.

(2) Courage to fail and start again.

(3) Courage to stop struggling and ask for help.

(4) Courage to give sacrificially.

(5) Courage to increase your service to God.

(6) Courage to hang on when the going gets tough.

(7) Courage to stand by your vision.

(8) Courage to reach out and speak to somebody about Jesus.

It takes to fulfill God's given destiny

It takes courage for Peter to launch into deep, Moses to strike with the rod.

To be continued...
